We cannot believe it has been almost two years of d e e p d i v i n g in Berlin, Dublin, Lisbon and Vilnius. Over 100 startups have joined Startup Lighthouse and learned how to scale up in these new markets. We had to celebrate it in style!
Scaling up in Europe: a MASTERCLASS from founders to founders
On 1 October 2019, in Madrid, Startup Lighthouse & our friends at Soft-Landing held a joint event for the Startup Europe community.
The Scaling up in Europe MASTERCLASS gathered +250 participants from all across Europe: from founders ready to scale their businesses, ecosystem builders which every day support the growth of startups in their local markets and beyond, to Startup Europe Ambassadors representing Soft-Landing, Startup Lighthouse, Startup Europe Partnership, MY-GATEWAY, and Nordic Angel Program. A true party.
The Masterclass was hosted at Google for Startups Campus and was organised with the support of South Summit (which took place that week, 2-4 October).
The Lighthouse companies (from Awarded startups to Europassers) warmed up with us for the Madrid conference in this full day of honest exchange of experiences, mindful insights (pun intended) and advice on scaling up abroad.

Karl Llewellyn, founder of Sanctifly – global provider of wellness options & activities at airports, and former Startup Lighthouse participant (Deep Dive Week Dublin 2018), jumped to the stage to share how he is preparing to scale his business in 2020.
